Sadly, the family of Deborah Anne Jollimore wish to announce that she left this life behind on Sunday June 12, 2016 at the Kelowna General Hospital with her family by her side. Born on August 27, 1959 in the Castlegar Hospital to parents Doug and Pat Jollimore, she was the youngest of their four children. She grew up and attended school here in Castlegar. Once on her own, she pursued a number of careers – including taking a Heavy Duty Equipment Operator and Mining course, and a bar-tending course. She lived in Vancouver as well as in Tumbler Ridge for short periods of time, but Castlegar was really her home. Never one to settle for the ordinary, she made her life’s choices and lived how she wanted to. She had an overwhelming love for her children and was loyal to her friends. Her greatest joy was to attend her daughter’s wedding – with her son escorting her, a short 4 weeks before she passed. Debbie is survived by her two children, Jordan Jollimore and Alica (Cory) Dixon. She is also survived by her brothers Stan (Darlene) Jollimore and Terry (Alison) Jollimore as well as nieces and nephews and their partners. She was pre-deceased by her parents, her sister Sandra, and her nephew Clinton. No service has been planned at this time but a memorial will be held at a future date.

Remember the happy times and the smiles…..
