Diana Marlene McLeod

In loving memory ~

It is with great sadness that the family of Diana Marlene McLeod announce her passing on October 24th, 2024.

Diana was born on February 20,1950 in Enderby B.C. She spent her younger years growing up in Penticton working at Dude Ranches and this is where she developed her love for horses and dogs. After moving to Castlegar B.C. she met the love of her life Dick McLeod and it was here that She, Dick and her son Justin started their lives together.

Over the years Diana was an active member of the vintage car club and took great pride in all the vintage cars they owned. She was also a member of many scrapbooking clubs, enjoyed various crafts, watching sports, road tripping and exploring. She will forever be remembered for her giving nature, friendships she acquired over the years and family traditions she started. The past few years she got a lot of enjoyment from the Iris functions she attended as well.

Diana is survived by her husband Richard (Dick) McLeod, Sister Sylvia McKinnon, Stepson Will McLeod (Sarah) Daughter In Law Sarah Leamy (Chad) Grandchildren Shawn, David, Cynthia and Shayne and Great Granddaughter Cami. And many Extended family and friends.

Diana is predeceased by her parents Ron and Jean Bauer, Son Justin and Brother Dan Silta.

There will be an open house celebration of life for Diana on Saturday November 23 2024 from 1:30-4:00pm with a memorial service at 2:00pm to honor a life greatly lived. We invite you to come share a memory or story.

In lieu of flowers a donation in Diana's name can be made to either MS of Canada or the Cancer Society as both these organizations she held close to heart.
