This is to announce Dita’s passing on July 10, 2016. Dita was born in West Berlin September 21, 1926. She, her husband Gerry and daughter Gabriele moved to Lynn Lake Manitoba 1955 where son Mike was born. After 9 1/2 years of dancing in the North, Dita suggested the family move somewhere warm. Castlegar was perfect. Dita has lived there for the last 51 years. Dita loved singing and dancing as well as curling and golfing with Gerry and friends. When Dita discovered Mexico and Hawaii, she, Gerry and friends shortened winters together by going there. Dita loved life. She cared deeply for her children, husband, relatives, friends and church. She was predeceased by her son, Mike and her husband, Gerry and survived by her daughter Gabriele. Mom you will be deeply missed. We love you ever so much and will meet again in God’s loving arms. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Alzheimers Society of BC. Celebration of Life is to be held at Kinnaird Park Community Church August 18, 2016, 1250 26th street, Castlegar BC at 1:00 pm.
