It is with great sadness we acknowledge the passing of our brother and friend Donnie Rogers of Elkford, BC.
He was born April 25th, 1953 and left us on May 2nd, 2009. Don fought hard to overcome his cancer.
Don was a great person and if he was your friend he was a friend for life. Donnie grew up in Robson BC and was schooled there.
He moved to Elkford and worked for Fording Coal and then Green Hills. He was at SMS Equipment in Elkford for 17 years until the time of his passing.
There was always food on Don's table and he cooked up a storm. He was a great cook, which he got from our mother Beth.
He has three daughters; Margy, Sandy, and Heather and was blessed with 3 beautiful grandchildren which he adored.
He leaves behind the love of his life; his wife Corey, his sisters: Jane Keegan and Blythe Elliott, nieces, nephews and cousins and so many friends.
He will join his parents Les and Beth Rogers.
He is in a better place.
Donnie, you will be missed but we know you are at peace.
