It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Dorothy on February 1st, 2020. Dorothy was born on March 11, 1958 with her twin brother Donald James. Dorothy graduated from Rossland Secondary School in 1976. She moved to Kelowna soon after where she worked many jobs before she started her career with School District #23 where she was a custodian. Dorothy loved camping and fishing with her many friends, and she loved making her chocolate and candy bouquets which she sold at many craft fairs. She was a member of Deborah Rebekah Lodge #13, Rossland, B.C. She enjoyed coming back to Rossland for her school reunion. Dorothy and Doug we married September 5th, 1987.
Dorothy leaves to mourn her husband Doug, step son Steven (Sandy) and her precious grandson Lincoln, mother Violet Krest, sister Doris (Elmo), Denny, brother Darcy (Erika), and niece Rebeka Krest, special friend Kenna and many relatives and friends.
Dorothy was predeceased by her dad Albert Krest and twin brother Donald James.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, in Trail, BC.
