Dwayne was born on April 4, 1943 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and died on November 6, 2016 in Trail, BC.
He is predeceased by his parents and also his brother Don.
He is survived by his wife Jacquie, sister Shelley Hamilton, of Saskatoon, and her family, and sister-in-law Yvonne Lepine, of Salmon Arm, and her family.
Dwayne was an instructor of some of the physics, mathematics, engineering and astronomy courses offered at Selkirk College between 1967-1999 and enjoyed an active retirement. He served on the executives
of the Castlegar and District Wildlife
Association, the Silver City Trap Club and the CPC for a number of years. His other lifelong passion was for water sports – both SCUBA and waterskiing.
An informal gathering to remember Dwayne will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday,
November 22 at the Nelson 10th Street
Campus of Selkirk College, in the Scholar’s Lounge, Mary Hall.
