It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edgar Konken on January 3, 2025.
Ed was born in Grand Forks, BC. While building a home in Qualicum Beach in 1968 he met Catherine and they married in 1973, later their son Jeffrey was born in 1982. Ed started building homes in Campbell River in the late 60's and later some commercial projects and custom cabinetry work.
Fishermen may remember him as the manufacturer of the "Fish Bonker". Ed leaves a great void in the lives of his wife Cathy and their son Jeff and too many family and friends to list.
As per Ed's wishes a service will be held in Campbell River on Saturday, April, 12, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Eagles Hall when roads are safe for family and friends to travel.
