Eileen Marie Harrison died September 11, 2010 at the age of 89 years. She was born at Oak Lake, Manitoba on October 15, 1920, coming to Vernon, BC, in 1936 and to Trail, BC, a few years later. Eileen married Charles Harrison in 1951 and they moved to Kinnaird (South Castlegar) in 1957.
Eileen was predeceased by her parents, Ulric and Helen Livingston, her husband Charles Harrison, and her siblings Archie Livingston, Marguerite McDowell, Frances Osing, Doreen Moore and Gerald Livingston.
She is survived by her children Michael Harrison of Castlegar, Catherine (Ken) English of Revelstoke, Philip Harrison of Nelson, and Stephen (Kelly)
Harrison of Fort St. John; grandchildren Dana (Krista), Julian, Sarah, Bryce, Kyla, Dylan (Morgan), and Alicia; great grandchildren Christian, Landon and Gavin; brothers Mickey, John and Bernie
Livingston and sister Patricia Schmidt, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Father Harry Clarke at St. Rita’s Church in Castlegar on Wednesday, September 15th at 10:30 A.M.
Interment followed in Park Memorial Cemetery.
