It saddens us to announce that while Elaine was surrounded by love, her journey on earth has come to an end. Her Angels took her Home where she is free of pain from her long courageous battle with bone marrow cancer.
Predeceased by her parents Ernie and Alvora Ady, brother Les.
Survived by siblings; George-Linda, Dale-Fred Planidin, Stuart-Maryann, sister-in-law Bonnie. Nieces/ Nephews; Tanya-Joe, Michelle- Rodger, Timothy, Stacey-Kelly, Geoffrey-Brigette, Jodi-Dan, Christopher, Katrina-Jason, 6 Great Nieces, 11 Great Nephews, several cousins, and her cat Bisou.
Until we meet again. There will be a private family gathering, as were Elaine's wishes.
Thank you to each and every one who helped Elaine and lifted her spirits through her difficult journey. Thank you to all the Doctors and Healthcare Staff at Castlegar Health Care Unit and KBRH for your compassionate care over these past six years.
