Elizabeth Kalesnikoff passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital on August 10, 2023.
Elizabeth was born on February 02, 1933. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and embroidering. She was a member of the ladies' Brilliant Cooking Group and well known for her Borscht. Elizabeth was kind, generous, hardworking and valued her family above all else. She had a great sense of humour and loved Doukhobor singing.
Elizabeth is predeceased by William (Bill), her husband of 61 years. She is also predeceased by her parents John and Tina Tamelin and brothers Bill and John.
She is survived by her daughter Betty and husband Robert, son Willy and wife Darlene, daughter Jeanette and husband Peter, 7 grandchildren, Jaclyn, Jaime, Jeffrey, Brian, Shawna, Meghan and Logan, 8 great-grandchildren and brother Harry Tamelin.
We will remember her as a kind and loving mother, grandmother (Super Baba) and great-grandmother.
We miss her and know in our hearts that she is in God's hands.
