It is with great sadness that we announce that on Jan. 15, 2018, we lost a very special lady.
Our Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, sister, Auntie and dear friend. Daughter of Gottlieb &
Ida Hold, Elsie was born in Rollyview Alberta Oct. 12, 1929, third of 7 girls.
Her husband of 61 years, Walter Miller predeceased Mom in 2013, she was also predeceased by son Melvin, sisters Erna & Alma as well as Lydia at infancy.
She is survived by her daughter Maryanne (Cal), sons Merle (Gaye), Dale (Debbie) & Mi- chael (Monika), daughter-in-law Connie.€ An even dozen (12) grandchildren, a handful (5) great-grandchildren and sisters Helen, Wanda€ & Linda.
Elsie resided the last 5 years in Trail at Columbia View Lodge, where she was loved by the staff.
Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., Friday Jan. 19 at the Castlegar Legion, 248 Columbia Ave. Castlegar BC.
In lieu of flowers, donation to the Alzheimer's Society or Castlegar Hospice would be welcome.
God knew, in his great wisdom that he could not be everywhere, so he put his little children In a loving Mother's care.
