It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ernie; he was taken from us much too soon.
Ernie was full of life. Most important to him was his family. Ernie enjoyed fishing, golfing, family trips, or just hanging out at home.
Ernie is survived by his wife Robyn, his children Michelle and Brayden, his brother Justin and his parents Mike and Marcy. He will be sadly missed by those that were lucky enough to know him.
Ernie was predeceased by both sets of grandparents.
A small family service was held December 22, 2017. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been set up in his name at the KBRH Health Foundation, http://www.kbrhhealthfoundation.ca or 1200 Hospital Bench, Trail, BC V1R 4M1.
We would like to thank the Castlegar Funeral Chapel for all their help.

All your kind words have meant a lot to us.
Ernie, this is not goodbye. We will see you again. Rest in peace.
