SPERLING, Eva - February 28, 1924 - June 6, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother at the Trail Hospital on Friday, June 6, 2009 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by her husband Alex Sperling and her daughter Eileen Diotte. Eva is survived by her seven children Ken (Brenda Jean) Sperling, Norm (TerriAnne) Sperling, Trudy (Tom) Biln, Marg Pena, Terry Sperling, Art (Evy) Sperling, Kathy Sperling, 11 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 5 step grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren.
We would like to express our gratitude and thanks to Nellie Makortoff and Pauline Thomas for the home support they provided over the years, the paramedics, the staff at the Castlegar Hospital and to all the third floor staff at the Trail Hospital that cared for her over the last few days.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. You will be forever in our hearts.
At Eva's request no formal Services will be held at this time. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made in Eva’s name to the Third Floor of the Kootenay Regional Boundary Hospital (formerly the Trail Hospital) for medical equipment.
