May 25, 1927 - September 13, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Evelyne Fay Jack, our Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother, and Great-Great Grandmother.

Fay was born May 25, 1927 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She passed away peacefully on September 13, 2018 at the Trail Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. Her parents, Aubrey and Ruby Keizer, moved from Winnipeg to Emo, Ontario where she grew up and then met her husband Harvey Jack. They married and had 3 children and moved to Castlegar in 1952. Fay had a job working with special needs kids, a night clerk, a banquet waitress, and a fulltime Homemaker.

Fay was the center of our family. She had an inquisitive mind and loved talking to people and having fun. She always worked on various puzzles and liked to read. One of her favorite activities was going to the Casino. She spent time on her tablet playing games. At Castlewood Village she played Crib, Canasta and Bingo, and participated in the various activities. She also rediscovered her love of music playing her keyboard. Previously she painted several oil paintings which are distributed through the family. When she and husband Harvey retired, they traveled with a motorhome to winter in the US, and went to Alaska, and across Canada; and they were active in the Car Club. She always contributed to the SPCA.

She was predeceased by her husband Harvey Jack, and daughter Patti Richards. Fay is survived by her brother Jerry Keizer( Linnea), sons Danny Jack and Terry, Rolly, Jack( Martha), son-in-law Doug Richards, grandchildren Kim(Jay), Kelly, Jesse, Ryan(Tara), and Cody(Angela); great grandchildren Miranda, Mathew, Alyssa, Mia, Gage and Hunter; and great great- grandchild Serenity Faye; and also, other family members.

We would like to express our appreciation to the staff at Castlewood Village, the nurses and doctors in Castlegar and at the Trail Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital, Castlegar Funeral Chapel, and to her friends' kind words.

A private family service will be held.
