Florence Bernice Rudashy (nee Gauley)

November 17, 1923 - December 6, 2019
Bernice was born on 17 November 1923 in Ogema, Saskatchewan and died on Friday, 6 December 2019 in Castlegar, British Columbia following a mercifully short illness.
Bernice enjoyed bowling, curling and cross-country skiing. Along with her husband, Charles, friends and dogs, Mr. Chips and Bonnie Belle, she hiked Old Glory many times. She was also an avid birdwatcher. Bernice is survived by son Jim (Lynn), daughter Donna (Steve), grandson Sean (Katie), granddaughter Brit (Brian), great-granddaughter Colbie and great grandchild to be (TBA Rudashy) as well as many nieces & nephews. Bernice was predeceased by her dear husband Charles, her parents Ernest and Annie Gauley, and sisters Margaret Holland and Marion Stanley.
A Remembrance of her life was held at 11 am on Wednesday, 11 December 2019 at Castlegar Funeral Chapel, 411- 9th Avenue, Castlegar, B.C. The service was officiated by Rev. Ken Siemens.
