Florence Horcoff (nee Swetlikoff)
Florence Horcoff (nee Swetlikoff) passed away quietly at Victoria General Hospital on May 3, 2009 at the young age of 90. After spending her entire life in Castlegar, BC she moved to Victoria in 2007 to live with her daughter. Florence dedicated her life to her family which included her extended family, her grandchildren and great -grandchildren. She was a fantastic cook, gardener and loved to knit and crochet and over the years she left behind many pieces of her work with family and friends, a reminder of love.
She will be sadly missed by family and friends as she loved them all unconditionally and kept in touch with everyone to the last days of her life.
Predeceased by her own passing were her parents, four brothers, her husband and two grandsons.
She is survived by three sons, one daughter, eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held at Personal Alternative Funeral Chapel in Castlegar, BC on Thursday, May 7th, 2009.
Memorial services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Castlegar, BC on May 8th, 2009 at 11:00am.
