In Loving Memory ~

Born in November 5, 1931 in Brilliant, BC.

Died on January 13, 2024 at Talarico Place in Castlegar, BC.

Fred was a member of the Operating Engineers Union for 60 years where he operated heavy lift cranes and other heavy equipment.

He was also an accomplished welder, mechanic and carpenter; he built, wired and plumbed his homes.

Fred enjoyed camping, fishing and boating with his wife Mary.

Fred was an accomplished musician who loved to play the accordion and guitar.

Fred is survived by four children Lawrence(Raisa) Wishlow; Cathy(Bill) Stoochnoff; Marlene(Terry) Makaroff; Fred A. Wishlow

Grandchildren: Mitch(Kateryna) Stoochnoff; Dasha Stoochnoff; Ivan(Francine) Wishlow; Zak(Nikita) Makaroff

Great Grandchildren: Oksana and Sophia Stoochnoff; Brady, Parker, Ty Wishlow.

Sister Elizabeth(Betty) Marbach and Sister-in-Law Winnie Carlsen and numerous nieces and nephews

Predeceased by his loving wife Mary(Zarchukoff); brother Pete and his wife Ann(Fofonoff) Hadikin.

Service to be held at Krestova Community Hall on Friday, January 19th 10AM with interment at Krestova Cemetery. Luncheon to follow at the hall.

Donations to Grand Forks ISKRA in lieu of flowers.

Fred died peacefully with his family at his side. He slipped away with a sigh and his family stayed by his side for prayers and final goodbyes.

Fred lived a full life filled with laughter and tears, wonderful achievements and a family that he loved very much and who loved him in turn.

He will be missed.
