In loving memory ~
Mr. Fred Postnikoff passed away peacefully at home in Kamloops, BC on November 9th, 2024 at the age of 84 in the arms of his loving wife Ruth.
Lovingly remembered by Children Lori (Bryan), Alvin, and Kelly (Dean); Grandchildren Ashley (Thomas), Amber (Drew), Melissa (Mario), Blake (Alina), and Shayne (Kayla); 11 great grandchildren; Brothers Pete and Mike; and Sisters Linda and Olga. He was predeceased by sister Elsie.
Fred was born in Champion Creek, BC in 1940 spending the majority of his life there. In 1985 he married Ruth and they lived together in Ootischenia/Thrums until 2021. During those years he helped raise Lori and Alvin, three grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Fred loved picking huckleberries, gardening, hunting and cooking for his family. He will be missed for his kind and generous heart.
A celebration of life will be held in the late spring of 2025 in Castlegar, BC
