With heavy hearts the family of Gaetano Gemma wishes to announce his passing. After a brief illness Gaetano passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, December 5, 2010, blessed with 82 years of life.
Gaetano was born in Italy on January 1, 1928 and after coming to Canada worked for many years as a cement finisher for the City of Trail. He enjoyed gardening, making all kinds of things with his hands and travelling. Gaetano especially loved his dogs, Bobbi and Mekki.
He was predeceased by his parents and 2 brothers. Left to mourn his loss is his loving wife Johanna. There is no service by his request. Donations in Gaetano’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements were in care of Castlegar Funeral Chapel.
