1949-2020 ~ It is with great sadness the family announce the sudden passing of George Pipke at the age of 71.
George was known by all as a loving, caring and gentle soul who loved to help others. He loved fishing trips to the N.W.T with "the boys," bonfires, cooking and making sausage, and of course his beloved OILERS!
He was such a gentle soul but if threatened was viciously protective of his family and friends. He took pride in making people smile and always had a joke loaded and ready to fire.
George is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years - Pennie, son - Victor, and daughter Kristel (Michael), 3 grandchildren (Sarah, Samantha and Owen) and one great grandchild (Oliver), 3 brothers and their families, numerous nieces and nephews, a sis-in-law, and brother-in-law.
George was predeceased by his loving Mother - Hedwig.
The family is having a private COVID aware celebration of his life with just family and close friends. To all who knew George please remember him with a smile.
