Gwyneth Valerie Zappavigna
February 17, 1951 - June 25, 2010
It is with great sadness that we
announce that Gwyneth Valarie
(Jones) Zappavigna lost her battle with
cancer on June 25, 2010.
Gwyneth was born in
Trail,BC on February 17, 1951
and grew up in Fruitvale. After graduation, she moved to Quebec and then back to Castlegar for the last 30 years.
Gwyneth will be missed by John, the love of her life; her sons, Zadoc and Jared; her grandchildren, Spencer and Hanna; her father, Barry Jones and mother, Frances Jones; her brother, Darcy
(Peggy) Jones; sisters, Candie Yaseniuk and Bonnie Graceffo; her nieces,nephews, extended family and many, many friends. Gwyneth will also be missed as Auntie Gwyneth’s Childcare
and as a Weight Watcher Leader.
John and Gwyneth’s family extend tremendous thanks to the Home Care Nurses and the sisters
from the congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for all their support and personal care of Gwyneth.
Cremation was in care of Castlegar Funeral Chapel.
