Helen Phillips

Helen Phillips was born on August 11, 1926 in Pender Harbor, BC, to her father Joseph McDonald and mother Mabel Klein. Helen is survived by her five children Robert, Susan, Gary, David and Wendy born to Helen's first husband (married 1948), Bill Bales. Later in 1978, Helen married a very kind and loving man in Powell River, Danny Phillips. She was one of seven children born to Joseph and Mabel along with her siblings, Angus, Stewart, Alice, Ernest, Jean, and Mary.
Helen passed away peacefully on September 10th, 2019 with her daughter and granddaughter at her side.
The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff at Talarico Place, Castlegar, for the amazing care they provided Helen and the many friends who continued to encourage her.
Her memorial will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Castlegar on Sunday, September 29th, 2019 at 1 pm.
