In loving memory ~
Ian Richard McCutcheon, age 67, passed away on October 18, 2022, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Ian is survived by his wife Carol Zehr-McCutcheon, daughter Tanny Squires (Dean), sister Nancy McCutcheon, niece Mary DeCaire, nephew Gregory DeCaire and brother Neil McCutcheon.
Ian was raised in Scarborough and Thornhill Ontario, and then lived in the Calgary and Castlegar areas. He was a concrete finisher by trade, and was known as an overall handyman who could fix or build anything.
The family would like to thank Dr. Tucker and the Doctors and nurses (especially Kelly) of the Kootenay Lake Hospital Oncology unit, and Castlegar Home and Community Care for all of their compassionate care. Per Ian's wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Kootenay Lake Hospital Foundation (Oncology Unit) or the West Kootenay SPCA.
