October 9, 1973 - June 22, 2018
We are sad to announce the passing of Jamie William Huisman on June 22, 2018. Jamie was born in Oshawa, Ontario but his life took him to Campbell River, Victoria and eventually to Castlegar where he settled and helped raise his two children, Trystan and Tailer.
Jamie will be remembered by his zest for life and always wearing his heart on his sleeve. Jamie had many opinions but that was his passion for life and speaking out for what he believed in. He was so proud to be a father and seeing his proud and protective smile in family photos makes this so apparent.
At a young age, Jamie was predeceased by his mother, Lorraine Huisman. He is survived by his two children, Trystan and Tailer Huisman; his father, Alan Adcock (Pam); half-siblings Sheldon and Alysha Adcock and Jeffery Bromell; his former spouse, Jenn Idle and his former partner, Kelley Lypchuk and by many aunts, uncles and cousins, both in BC and in Ontario.
Jamie, you will always be missed by those that loved and knew you. "It is hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember."
Celebration of life will be held July 12th in memory of Jamie's life. Jamie will be cremated and then buried alongside his mom in Ontario.
