We regretfully announce the passing of Jane Maloff of Sunny Doukhobour Rd on June 2, 2022. Jane was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully.
Our mother, Jane, was one of the strongest, most courageous, loving women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her as the head of the family.
Jane, was born on February 18, 1954 to John and Anne Maloff , in Nelson BC and immediately brought joy, laughter, and an abundance of love into the world
In 1977, she met Alex Josafatow and the two were inseparable from that point on. Jane and Alex where in love and together for almost 45 years. Together they went on to have two children, Rya and Alexei (Carlee). Jane was a fiercely dedicated mom raising her two children, with love and acceptance, and showing them the way to accomplish great things. She was blessed with four beautiful and smart granddaughters, Hayley, Adisyn, Emree, and Mileena. Family came first and was above all else to Jane, a value she instilled in all those around her. The hole left by her absence will be impossible to fill.
Jane was a talented and passionate women. She had a love for gardening, music, homesteading, and was an excellent cook. In her younger years she loved to sew her own dresses and clothes, she enjoyed fashion and shopping as well.
Jane was a wonderful and loving wife and mother who gave her all to her family. Through wellness and sickness her family was her focus and love. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.
Jane was predeceased by her, Father John, Mother Anne, and Brother Johnnie. She leaves her Brother Billy and Sister Nina, many nieces & nephews, cousins and auntie Elsie.
Services were held on June 10, 2022 in Krestova, BC.
