John was born in Raspberry, BC, on July 14, 1935. He spent his early years on his parent's farm in Blewett, BC. He married the love of his life, Helen in 1955 and together they built a life on the river in South Slocan. They had three beautiful daughters Delphine, Venetia and Lorrie. John was a family man and worked hard to provide a good life for them. He was a sports enthusiast and could usually be found either participating in sports or on the sidelines cheering on his daughters and later, his grandkids and great grandkids. His love for his family was immense and he was always so proud of each and every member.
John passed away peacefully on November 2, 2021 at Talarico Place in Castlegar.
He is predeceased by his parents, brother, sister and his two daughters Venetia and Lorrie.
