Jordan Gary John Giles

July 2, 1982 - November 4, 2019
Our hearts are broken as we share that our son, Jordan Gary John Giles, was taken from this world into the next on November 4, 2019. Jordan was born in Toronto on July 2, 1982, and was adopted with joy by us, Gary and Carol Giles, and his sister, Janna, when he was seven. Jordan was a bundle of energy, loved sports, and became a talented musician. After graduating from high school, he spent 3 years at Hillsong College in Sydney, Australia, where he graduated from the music and creative arts program. Jordan then spent another year and a half ministering alongside Hillsong Church, before coming back to us in BC, where he worked at Subway for about 6 months before moving to Alberta. He was regional director of a marketing company in Leduc. Jordan was very active in helping start a church at the West Edmonton Mall during that last year of his life, and will be sorely missed by his many friends across Canada and around the world. Jordan was well loved and loved well.
Jordan is survived by his parents, Gary and Carol, his sister, Janna, his niece, Jaedynne, his Gram, Edna Giles, 8 aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his mom's parents, John and Anne Funk, an uncle and two aunts.
