Born in 1920 at Gravelbourg Sask. to
John and Anna Schnell. Three sisters
Barb, Kay and Liz.
Attended school in Gravelbourg. Joe first came to Castlegar BC in August 1937. Dad spent 4 years in the army and one year overseas. Dad worked for
Cominco for 36 years as a Carpenter. He spent 29 years as a volunteer Fireman in Castlegar.
Dad is survived by 2 children, Nancy & Howard (Nghi) and one grand daughter Vicky. Dad passed away peacefully at Castlewood Village March 24th 2010.
Cremation and No Service by request.
