Josephine Mary Turner, 85, of Penticton, died Sunday October 10. She was born Nov. 7, 1924,in Brock, Saskatchewan. Jo worked as a nurse in Nelson BC and Married William Peter Turner in 1942. They lived in North Battleford Saskatchewan; then moved
to BC in 1953 and resided in Trail, Burns Lake and Castlegar. Pete passed away in 2004 and Jo moved to Penticton.
Jo leaves her four children; Barbara of
Kelowna, Clifford of Gabriola, Robert (and Sandy) of Quesnel, Susan (and Bruce) of Penticton. “Our Mom was a kind and generous person whom opened her home and heart to many foster children, all our friends and always had a very loved and spoiled pet”.
Jo leaves six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
