Joshua Logan Evin

April 15, 1981 - June 13, 2010

Joshua Logan Evin was born April 15, 1981 in Nelson B.C., to parents Elaine and Lorne, a younger brother to Justin. Josh was a very happy child. Around age 5 yrs he came to live in Robson, B.C. where he attended Robson School and later graduated from Stanley Humphries School.

Josh developed a passion for

skateboarding at a very early age. This passion took him to become a pro skate boarder and to open is own skate shop and clothing line. Josh had other interests, snowboarding, golfing, hiking, family and friends.

His Celebration of Life took place on

June 17th, 2010 at the Brilliant Cultural Center.

He had a traditional Doukhobor funeral on June 18th, 2010.

Josh is survived by his partner Tia Brown, parents Elaine Pottery, Lorne and Lillian Evin, brothers Justin (Leigh) Evin, Cody Pottery, sister Christina Amelio, grandparents Andrew and Vera Evin, and nephew Jasper Evin and many uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family.

The family would like to thank our dear

relatives, friends and community that came together to support us in our time of sorrow. We were especially touched by the beautiful singing. It gave us comfort and strength to carry on. Our extended thanks to Laura Veregin and family for their love and support, Castlegar Funeral Chapel, Bill Strilaeff for all his help. We thank all the pall bearers and cemetery help, Brilliant Catering group for the meal, Leonard Voykin for leading the service, and especially all Josh’s friends for their help, love and support.

We pray that Joshua’s soul will be

accepted into God’s Heavenly Kingdom
