In Loving Memory ~
Our Mom, "The Jude", is now playing on the only course with greener fairways than Castlegar. She made it to 90 last month, realized that was damned well enough of that and decided to call it a day.
Mom was smart, sharp, witty, outspoken and had a keen sense of right and wrong, those few who knew her well know all that.
She was a fierce defender and supporter of her kids and grandkids, even at times when it wasn't deserved. Generous with her time, space and finances, Mom would do her damnedest to help her family.
Grandmothering, golfing, reading, knitting, sewing and crocheting have been Mom's primary pastimes for the last 40+ years...oh, and yes, being the wife of Mr. "Life of the Party", our Dad Dick. We all agree she deserves some kind of medal for that 54-year stint!
"Some of it magic, some of it tragic but she had a good life all the way!" We are so lucky and thankful to have had a Mom and Grandma like "The Jude", she will be thought of daily and toasted to often.
Have a sip of scotch in Judy's honour and think of her when you see a purple iris. As per Mom's request, there will be no service.
