January 4, 2019
It is with great sadness that we, the family announce the passing of Kathleen (Kay) Mae Coadic on January 4th, 2019 at the age of 90 at Talarico Place (nursing home) in Castlegar BC where she spent the last 4 years.

Kay is survived by her daughter Rhonda Raoul, husband Doug, and their children Breton & Alex all in Castlegar and granddaughter Colleen Cobb (Coadic) in Eagles Lake, Alaska and another grandson Kevin Coadic in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia.

It is been a tough year as we recently said goodbye in August 2018 to Kay's son Clifford age 69 from Quesnel BC. Kay will be joining her late husband Howard (Oct. 5, 1928 to Jan. 17, 2001).

Kay and Howie and their two children Clifford and Rhonda were all born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. After Howie's passing Kay has spent the last 18 years traveling with the Raoul family from Cape Breton to NW Ontario and to BC many times.

Kay and Howie sure loved the outdoors. They used to haul their camper and boat to Larcheveque, Nova Scotia (the beach) every chance they could. They enjoyed a fresh fish fry for breakfast and nice warm bon fires with many friends that used to accompany them at the beach. They also enjoyed good old Cape Breton fiddle (Celtic) music. Rhonda played Kay some good Celtic music to the end.

We would like to thank all the wonderful people that took care of Kay at Talarico Place. There are no words we can say to express the warmth and care she received there for the past 4 years...so thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Donations may be made to local food banks in her name. We all have a lot to be thankful for in our lives and an act of giving food to our less fortunate families is our responsibility. Please donate. Thank you.
