In loving memory ~

Ken was born in Canwood, SK to Kasper and Serena (nee Anenson) and raised on the family homestead, the eldest of four. He left in the mid 1950's for 100 Mile House to log with his uncle Norman Knutson, where he met Beatrice Aitken who worked at a local cafe. In 1959 they moved to Prince Rupert, where Ken started at the Pulp Mill and they married. Celgar Pulp Mill in Castlegar would beckon them in 1960, where he started in the wood room, quickly becoming a supervisor, and remaining there until his retirement.

Ken bought and cleared land in Robson in 1963, building the home they raised their two daughters in, and where he resided until his passing. Dad loved to take road trips, visiting family and friends in BC and Saskatchewan and all parts in between, especially Edmonton. Ken met with friends for coffee every morning and loved talking with people.

Dad (Gramps) will be greatly missed by his two daughters Shelly Briggeman (John) of Edmonton and Samantha Knutson (Daryn) of Robson, along with his two cherished grandsons Travis Briggeman of Edmonton and Maxwell Knutson of Robson. He had many cousins, nieces & nephews, and dear family friends he kept in touch with right up to the very end. A special mention to his lady friend Eva.

Predeceased by his parents, wife of 47 years Bea, brothers Allen and Leon, and sister Colleen Moberg.

There will be no service upon his request. Internment to take place next spring in the family plot in North Concordia Church Cemetery near Shellbrook, SK.

In lieu of flowers, call up an old friend and have a game of crib in Dad's memory.
