It is with a heavy heart that Trish and Megan Chernoff share the loss of their best friend, Kevin Chernoff. He left our world suddenly on Tuesday morning, with Trish by his side after a full week surrounded by family. It’s hard to imagine how the world will go on without him but we are so proud of the impact he made in his short 55 years. He has spent the last decade serving as a Castlegar city councillor, community volunteer, business owner, entrepreneur, roll model, resident jokester, and most of all the #1 supporter and friend to his two girls.
He left behind the love of his life and wife of 33 years Trish, and his daughter Megan. He was just two months shy of officially gaining a son in law, Ryan and three grandchildren Ella, Hannah and Braxton.
Kevin was survived by his mother Vera, Brother Harold and Sister Shelly. He will be joining his brother Nick Jr and father Nick Sr in heaven.
