With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend, Laura Zaitsoff on February 1, 2018.
Laura was born on September 14, 1938 in Passcreek, BC to parents George and Dora (nee Verigin) Plotnikoff. Laura was the eldest of 3 children including her brothers Phil and George. Laura married her sweetheart Bill Zaitsoff on January 25, 1958. Laura and Bill were then blessed with two children, Deb and Ron, as they began and grew their life together in Robson. Laura made her home in Robson for 60 years, where she was known for her garden, her commitment to family and friends and a smile for everyone.
Laura is predeceased by her mother Dora (1958), her husband Bill (1980), her brother George (1987), father George Sr (1988) and niece Leeda Plotnikoff (2007). She is also predeceased by mother in law Flora Zaitsoff, and in-laws George and Louise Zaitsoff.
Laura is survived by her daughter Debbie (Dean) Scott, her son Ron (Catherine) Zaitsoff and her beloved grandchildren, Michael (Naureen) Scott, Jason Scott and Nolan Zaitsoff. She is also survived by her brother Phil(Ann) Plotnikoff. Laura is also survived by sister-in-law Lauresa Plotnikoff and nieces and nephews.
Laura lives on through her family and friends and their cherished memories. A special thank you to all of those involved with Laura's care and her funeral service and burial on February 6, 2018.
