Leona (Lena) Trischuk (nee Guidone) passed away on Friday April 24, 2009 in West Kelowna, BC.
Leona was born in Vancouver and moved to Trail at a very early age. She grew up in the Gulch.
She married Peter Trischuk in 1947.
They moved to Castlegar where they purchased a grocery store, Trischuck's Foods.
They ran the store until retiring in 1970.
Predeceased by her husband, Peter (Chuck) Trischuk; her son Don; her sister Mary; brothers Peter, Vee and Amerigo.
Leona is survived by her daughter Marlee Bowman; her brother Victor; her grandsons Jeff Bowman and Michael Trischuk, her great-granddaughter, Luca.
