July 15, 1948 - December 29, 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of Les Schultz announces his passing on Sunday, December 29th
in the loving arms of his wife and best friend, Bonnie.
Les was born in Wetaskiwin, AB on July 15, 1948 and was very well known for his body shop "Les Schultz Autobody and Glass", and his time spent volunteering with the Robson Fire Department.
Les had many passions from riding his motorcycle to playing ball, and he especially loved to golf with his
granddaughter, Beanie. He was a very hardworking man, with a heart of gold and much love for his family, friends and his animals.
Les will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 17 years, Bonnie, his son Curt Schultz, stepchildren Stephen McKenzie, Melissa (Allan) Martin and his sweet granddaughter Calli Martin (Beanie), and of course his constant companion, his dog Diggie. He is survived by his brothers Marvin Schultz
(Nicole Palmer), Cliff (Sue) Schultz and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Les also leaves behind, his mother-in-law Edith Brown, brothers and sisters-in-law Doug (Pat) Brown, Ernie (Gerry) Brown, Rick (Wendy) Brown and Gail (Rick) Turner.
Les has reunited with his father Daniel, mother Emily, sister Marlene and brother Gordon.
As per Les's request there will be no service. A gathering for family and close friends will take place at a later date. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in Les's memory may be made to either the West Kootenay Toy Run Association C/O Box 35, Genelle, BC, VOG 1G0, or the Castlegar Branch of the BCSPCA, 124 Heritage Way, Castlegar, BC, VIN 4M5.
