Lorne Wayne Kanigan

May 11, 1970 - December 24, 2019
With deepest sorrow, we announce that our son Lorne Wayne Kanigan, age 49, passed away on December 24, 2019 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Phoenix, Arizona.
Lorne was born May 11, 1970 at the Castlegar & District Hospital. He graduated from Stanley Humphries Secondary School.
Lorne loved all outdoor pursuits; especially golf and hockey. He was able to achieve a hockey scholarship in Fairbanks Alaska, where he played hockey and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. In 1997 he moved to Arizona with his friend and business partner Mark Yozipovich, where he applied his degree at Primerica Financial Services.
He was highly respected by his co-workers as a teammate, friend, mentor and coach.
Lorne will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his parents Mike & Mary Kanigan, his sons Chase & Luke, brothers David (Susan), Richard (Jennifer), niece Rachel, and nephews Eric, Owen and Noah.
Lorne was predeceased by his Kanigan and Nazaroff grandparents and by his uncles John Kanigan and Walter Nazaroff.
We pray to Our Lord Savior Jesus Christ, that our beloved Lorne will live in His Heavenly Kingdom.
A Celebration of Life for Lorne will be held at the Brilliant Cultural Centre on March 21, 2020 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. This will be followed with a social gathering in the dining area.
