It’s with great sadness that we share the passing of my mother, Maria Conceicao Rodrigues, she was born on February 25, 1936, in Sao Joao, Pico Azores, Portugal and passed away on February 18, 2023, in the Trail Hospital.
Maria was predeceased by her husband Francisco, her brother Joao and her parents Joao and Clara.
She is survived by her loving son Luis and her devoted younger sister Maria Adelina.
Maria was a woman of strong faith and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking, gardening, reading, writing poems and telling stories. She loved helping others and was always positive and happy.
Prayers and a viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 6:30 pm at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 11:00 am. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Castlegar Funeral Chapel.
We would like to thank all the Doctors and Nurses and all the great people at Home Support for their help over the last few years. We will love and miss you forever.
