Maria Zeberoff was born September 29, 1926 in Pass Creek, BC, and passed away December 5, 2010 at Kootenay Boundary Hospital in Trail, BC.
Maria enjoyed gardening, cooking and traveling. A long time member of the USCC. She volunteered at many weddings and funerals. Maria was employed as a custodian at the Castlegar, Kinnaird Medical Clinics. Maria possessed a big heart, always giving. A truly strong, compassionate, loving woman till her last day.
Maria is survived by her daughter May Zeberoff, sons; Greg and Ed Zeberoff, grandsons; Anthony and Luke Zeberoff.
Maria was predeceased by her Mother Mabel Horkoff in 1989, Father Fred Horkoff in 1985, Husband Harry Zeberoff in 1962.
Service was held December 10, 2010 at the Brilliant Cultural Center. Internment followed at the Pass Creek Cemetery. The service was well attended by many friends and relatives.
Maria dearly loved family, grandchildren, parents and relatives. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten, she was certainly the Best! We would like to express our deep gratitude and thanks to friends and relatives who visited Maria during her short stay at the Trail Hospital. Special thanks to the wonderful, caring staff who helped during Maria’s final days, the Castlegar Funeral Home and Pete Relkoff for conducting the service. To all thank you for the
support before and after Maria’s passing.
