With sad hearts the family of Marion Greta Everett, of Krestova, BC, wishes to announce her passing on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at Kootenay Boundary Regional
Hospital in Trail, BC, blessed with
80 years of life.
Marion was born in Bombay, India on September 10, 1933, to parents Muriel and Conall Everett. She had a very rich and rewarding life, meeting many different people, in her travels. Marion was a business woman and followed her love of dogs at Happy Dog Kennels in Kelowna, BC for 35 years.
She was predeceased by her son Leonard of Kelowna, BC, her sister Evelyn of Calgary, AB, her mother Muriel of Calgary, AB and her father Conall of Australia.
Left to mourn her loss is her ex-husband Hardy Madsen of Kelowna, BC; her son Jack Madsen of Krestova, BC; her sisters Barbara and Norma of Australia and Marguerite of Calgary, AB; her granddaughters Terra and 4 great-grandchildren of Salmon Arm, BC and Sarah and 2 great-grandchildren of Victoria, BC and her grandsons Jake of Salmon Arm, BC and Jesse of Kelowna, BC.
Cremation has taken place in care of Castlegar Funeral Chapel. There will be no service by her request.
