We are saddened to announce the passing of Mary Dootoff (nee Wishloff) of Castlegar, (formerly of Robson) BC on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. She was 91.
Mary was born in Pass Creek, and married William (Bill) Dootoff in 1948. They built two homes in Castlegar and later one in Robson where she lived until she moved to Castlewood Village.
Mary is survived by her son Barry (Alice) of Fernie, daughter Elaine Gallo of Castlegar, grandsons David (Anika) Gallo of Toronto, and Stuart (Lisa) Gallo and great granddaughter Hannah of Kelowna. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Bill, her parents Fred and Mabel Wishloff, her sister Doris Zoobkoff, and brother Bill Wishloff.
A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital and to the staff at Castlewood Village. We are grateful for their care and kindness.
Funeral Service will be held on October 7, 2019, 10 am at the Castlegar Funeral Chapel with interment at Brilliant Doukobour Cemetery.
