It is with great sadness that the family of Michael David Kelly, Mick, announce his passing on May 25, 2021.
Mick was one of ten children born to Margaret and Stanley Kelly in St. Annes, England on April 7, 1938. He met and married Anne and together with their five children emigrated to Canada in June of 1974.
Mick made Castlegar his home and lived there happily with Anne and their family around them for 47 years till his death. Our dad was larger than life and a lovely, lovely man.
He leaves behind his wife of 62 years , Anne and his five grown children: Frieda (Mark), Michael (Angela), Susan, Samantha (Joe) and Jo-Ann; his adored grandchildren and great grandchildren; his brothers, sisters, cousins, nephews and nieces and their families in England and Canada.
We would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses of the Trail Hospital ICU for their care and compassion of our dad in these difficult times.
Dad, we will keep you tucked safely in our hearts and hold you close in our stories and memories of you.
