Passed away at age of 83 at Delta Hospice after a valiant battle with cancer. Michael was born in Castlegar where he graduated from high school. He then attended UBC graduating with an engineering degree. He enjoyed sports and was a member of the Castlegar Cubs softball team. He also played badminton and was an avid golfer. He also had a great love of music.
Mike’s engineering career began with Westinghouse Canada in Hamilton, Ontario. After five years in Ontario he returned with his young family to resume residence in greater Vancouver. Prior to retirement he taught at BCIT.
He was predeceased by his parents, wife Marie, son Daniel and brother Paul.
He is survived by his son Jim (Lorna) and granddaughter Kelsey, daughter Deborah (Greg) and grandson Brett and brother Fred.

hospice staff.
