June 25, 1924 - June 24, 2020
Molly Babaeff, nee Hadiken, passed peacefully from our world on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at approximately 4:41 p.m. in Castlegar, British Columbia. Molly was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Babaeff, son, Michael Frederick Babaeff, and grandson, Michael Gordon Babaeff.
Born June 25, 1924, in Shoreacres, British Columbia, Molly was once the life of the party, or so she liked to tell us, and often spent her nights socializing and singing with friends. Once Molly became a Mom (and Baba), you would be hard pressed to find her without friends and family gathered around her table, laughing, eating, drinking, and playing cards. We were always impressed at her ability to whip up a meal at a moment's notice.
Molly will be remembered for her unwavering loyalty to Jehovah as one of Jehovah's Witnesses of the Castlegar Congregation. Her family extends their gratitude and appreciation to those of her faith who were with her, especially during her final hours.
The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to Dr. Lisa Vasil, and to Talarico Place for the kind and loving care Mom (Baba) received during her stay. Our appreciation goes beyond mere words.
A precious memory her family will hold forever in their hearts is how Mom (Baba) stood in her doorway to blow us goodbye kisses, and to see us safely on our journeys home. We send you off on your journey, Mom (Baba), and blow you one more kiss goodbye.
There will not be a funeral service, and in respect of Molly's wishes, please do not send flowers.
