In Loving Memory ~
Mom left us peacefully at the age of 86, she was born to John & Annie Planedin at her grandparent's farm in Shouldice, Alberta, & grew up in Calgary in a close-knit family with her two brothers Eli (Cindi) Planedin & Mike (Ann) Planedin & two sisters Helen Miller & Ann (Alex) Saukarookoff.
Mom's large brown eyes, beauty & grace captured the heart of dad Mike Strelieff, they married November 27th, 1959, celebrating 60 loving years until Dad's passing in 2020.
Together, Pat & Mike raised 3 children Perry, Tim (Lydia) & Tammy (Roger) Junker at their family home/farm in Shoreacres. They gave us life, kept us happy, healthy & rich with love. The farm in Shoreacres was a destination for generations of family, making lasting meaningful memories for all that visited.
Grandkids & great-grandkids were a great joy for mom, she formed special relationships with each of them & that bond will forever be cherished by Greg, Ashley, Ian & Jake & great-grandkids Beau, Riley, Cameron, Molly & Elias.
Mom had a great sense of style & was always fashionably put together. The backyard that mom nurtured was her sanctuary & it gave her & everyone that visited much tranquillity & peace with an abundance of beautiful flowers, planters & gardens.
While health permitted mom stayed physically active with skating, bowling, skiing, walking, aerobics classes, & travel to Arizona, Hawaii, Mexico & Vancouver Island. When mom's health limited her mobility, she enjoyed her TV time especially her favorite program "The Masked Singer" she learnt to use her iPhone to play Wordscape & stayed connected to family through FaceTime, texts & chats.
Rest in Peace, Dear Mom, Baba, Sister, Auntie & Friend. Your love, connection & joy will forever light our way
