June 7, 1940 - July 15, 2018
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Polly Podmorow. Surrounded by family, Polly passed peacefully on Sunday, July 15, 2018.

Polly Podmorow was born in Glade on June 7, 1940 to her parents Mike and Nellie Ostrikoff. She grew up with her two younger brothers, George and Mike. Polly married Ed Podmorow on December 3, 1960. Together they lived in Krestova for one year and Kelowna for three years, before settling down on their farm in Thrums.

Polly was known for her creativity and generous heart. Throughout her life she was involved in a few different ladies quilting groups and charity groups. Polly was proud that many families across the world benefited from her charitable efforts.

Polly was a woman of many talents and hobbies. Polly enjoyed gardening, quilting, sewing, cooking for her growing family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her family very much and was always willing to help in any way she could.

Polly was blessed with a large and loving family. She will be remembered and deeply missed by her husband Ed, her three daughters; Natalie Verigin (Steve), Nadeen Arishenkoff (Arnie), and Angela Podmorow, and their families which includes 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Polly was predeceased by her parents and her brother George.

A sincere thank you to the attentive and empathetic nurses and caregivers at The Columbia View Lodge in Trail. Polly's family is also thankful to all the friends and relatives that called, visited and brought flowers for Polly.

May she rest in peace in God's Heavenly Kingdom
