In Loving Memory ~ It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Priscilla (Popoff) Brown. Priscilla left us on September 30,2021 with her beloved husband Shane and her parents at her side.
She was predeceased by her younger brother Leonard on March 6, 1998. She is survived by her husband Shane Brown, parents Paul and Violet (Voykin) Popoff and brother Ken Popoff.
Priscilla was born in Vancouver on December 4, 1965. After she graduated from Mt. Sentinel School in South Slocan she eventually moved to Calgary and spent most of her adult life in Calgary. Priscilla expanded her education by attending Mount Royal University in Calgary and receiving a Degree in Interior Design. In the pursuit of her career, she has made many friends in Calgary who have expressed their sorrow and sadness in the loss of a personable and loving friend.
Priscilla never forgot her roots and always made a point of returning to visit her family back home at every opportunity she had, especially a good old country Christmas back home with her family. One of the highlights of the back home Christmas visits was a family get together with her favorite Uncle and his family.
Priscilla was outgoing and personable and would always offer a helping hand to anyone that needed help. She enjoyed visiting with her friends, camping, line dancing, and was involved in art and did many art projects. She also attended many Russian Prayer meetings in Calgary.
At her request there will be no funeral service, a celebration of life will be held in Calgary at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, family and friends may make a donation to the Alberta Cancer foundation.
Her family would like to thank Priscilla's friends and family for all their love, help and support; and her doctors, medical staff, and support personnel.
Goodbye Priscilla. Forever in our hearts.
