The family of Ronald Cecil Orton sadly announces his passing in Trail, on July 13, 2012 at the age of 63 years.
Left to mourn his loss are his mother Eva, sisters Glenna (Bob), Susan (Dave), wife Kim, son Joey, daughter Sarah, step-son Shane, three nieces and a nephew. He was predeceased by his father Arthur.
Ron was born November 25, 1948 in Regina, Saskatchewan and grew up in Richmond before relocating to Castlegar. He was employed by Selkirk College in Castlegar in the maintenance-forestry department for many years.
Cremation has taken place under the care of the Castlegar Funeral Chapel and a memorial service was held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 170 in Castlegar on Saturday July 21, 2012.
