Roy Sanford Dickie

The family of Roy Sanford Dickie wishes to announce his passing at the Talarico Place Care Centre on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 blessed with 75 years of life.

Roy was born in Creelman, Saskatchewan on January 8, 1935 to parents Luciva and Bob Dickie. He had his schooling in Saskatchewan and then moved to Calgary where he married Collen Wiltshire and he had 2 sons and 2 daughters. While Roy was with Imperial Oil, the family lived in Calgary and then for several years in Los Angeles. In 1965 they moved to BC and lived in Quesnel and then Roy moved out on his own to Southern BC where he lived in Various communities while working as an offset pressman. In 1995 he met his best friend an sweetheart Eva Mohn and they happily lived together and enjoyed their passion, playing Bluegrass Music.

Roy was predeceased by 2 sisters, Jean Margaret and brother Harvie.

Left to mourn his loss and his love Eva, daughters Debra and Susan, sons Robert and Micheal and many friends and acquaintances.

Cremation has taken place under the care of Castlegar Funeral Chapel. There will not be a funeral service by request.

Donations in Roy's Memory may be made to the Ladies' Hospital Auxiliary.
